About US:
Dr. Anupma Sethi , Executive Director of Empowerkidz, is a Graduateof the University of Delhi with a Doctorate in special education. Anupma has experience as an, Orton-Gillingham reading therapist,teacher, consultant, and mother. She is certified in SOI systems ofCognitive Skills Assessment and training program developed by Dr Robert Meeker and Dr. Mary Meeker using Dr. J.P. Guilford’s theory of intelligence. Anupma also has a certification in Braingym 101 program of brain and body. She has been working with children for more than a decade and has experimented with research based new developments in the area of education and the science of teaching. She also does educational and intellectual assessments using standardized tests like Woodcock Johnson Battery, Kauffman’s Achievement Battery for children.
Our Future Plans: Empowerkidz is planning to become an Authorized Provider of the well-known The Listening Program. From Advanced Brain Technologies. This is a music-based auditory stimulation method that trains the brain to improve the auditory skills needed to effectively listen, learn and communicate. The Listening Program is based on the respected work of Alfred A. Tomatis, M.D.
